SHERIDAN, Wyo. — Five lost snowmobilers spent a cold night stranded in the Bighorn Mountains before being rescued over the weekend in northern Wyoming.
Sheridan County Sheriff’s Lt. Mark Conrad says the snowmobilers reported being lost in the Bighorn Mountains at about 7:45 p.m. on Saturday. They were found about 24 hours later.
One snowmobiler received treatment for hypothermia.
About 30 search and rescue personnel from Sheridan County, Big Horn County, Johnson County as well as volunteers took part in the search.
